MISSIONS

Missions are vitally important here at First Baptist Bristol.  We think that they are one of the most tangible ways in which we can be the hands and feet of Christ.  Because of that, we give of our time, talents, and treasure to support numerous missions both locally and around the world.  If you would like to get more involved in one of them yourself, please contact one of our Ministers. 

Mission Organizations We Support

As a church we are active in local missions.  Church members deliver food to shut-ins each week.  They also volunteer in the local food pantry and deliver food through Meals on Wheels each month.  We believe that God is calling us to do more both locally and around the world, though.  Because of that, we support missionaries directly and give financially to like-minded organizations.

 

Denominationally, we support the following groups for the purpose of missions: 

 

CBF GLOBAL, CBFVA, BGAV, LEBANON BAPTIST ASSOCIATION

Healing Hands Health Center

Healing Hands Health Center provides services for the uninsured who have a total household income of 250% less than Federal Poverty Guidelines
