--Service. We should serve because it’s the right
thing to do. Jesus calls us to serve
the least, but the benefits go beyond that.
Richard Foster says, “Service enables us to say “no!” to the world’s
games of promotion and authority” (Foster, p. 127). It allows us to die to ourselves everyday
and learn to go beyond ourselves.
